Risk Management Policy:
Big Sky Fund has a risk management policy that deals with various risks. The risk management compliance plan deals specifically with risk mitigation linked to Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. The principle is that of Know Your Client and therefore the requirement for client identification.
Conflict of Interest:
Big Sky Fund has a conflict of interest policy that deals with potential and/or actual conflicts between various possible parties but specifically between clients and the Fund. We have a conflict of interest policy to protect the client, advocate disclosure and avoidance.
Insurance:
Big Sky Fund has an insurance policy as required under the FAIS Act. The policy goes some way in covering the client in the event of fraudulent conduct.
Disclosure:
Big Sky fund is required to disclose various facts about the Company and its representatives etc to clients. The Prospectus is partially a disclosure document. Clients are also required to make certain disclosures to the Company as required. Such information would include the client's source of funds and wealth, and FICA among others.
Complaints Procedures:
Big Sky has a complaints procedure policy. It deals with the process related to complaints and the Ombud.

We welcome positive as well as negative comments. Please feel free to discuss complaints with your consultant or the management, KI or Compliance Officer of Big Sky Fund. We urge clients to make complaints in writing. Big Sky Fund is committed to deal with and resolve complaints fairly, with urgency, discretion and confidentiality. Complaints are best handled when made in written or electronic format. Complaints not resolved may be escalated to the Ombud for Financial Services Providers. Details provided below.
