We seek unique investment opportunities that feed off current inefficiencies in the marketplace. This may include investing in start-up businesses specifically if it is managed by strong leaders who incentivise like-minded people in their businesses.

We engage with out of the box thinkers who have unique intellectual property to break away from the norm. The investments in such niche opportunities may be disruptive within the related industries but beneficial to the longer-term sustainability of the industries and the related “customers” it serves.

Many of the investment start-ups and related investment strategies are developed by Big Sky in conjunction with the management teams of the businesses. Doing the right thing will become visible in the positive outcomes. We therefore believe in tracking evidence and adjusting our actions.

We want to build scalable and sustainable businesses where 12J is just viewed as an initial funding mechanism. For the time being we will utilize 12J where possible opportunities exist but, should the sunset clause not be waived, our investments will still thrive.
